The Madhya Pradesh unit of Congress has demanded a ban on 'Shivraj App' and 'Modi Run' applications for promoting the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Minutes after he cast his vote in Ahmedabad, Bharatiya Janata Party's Prime Ministerial hopeful Narendra Modi clicked selfies with on his cellphone flashing his inked finger and his party symbol, the lotus. The Twitter-savvy Modi later posted the photo on the micro-blogging website saying, "Voted! Here is my selfie."

A delegation of Trinamool Congress leaders on Wednesday met Election Commission officials here and alleged that the use of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photo on advertisements of various central schemes and the COVID vaccination certificates, distributed by the Union health ministry, violated the model code of conduct.
